The voting membership of IEEE annually elects officers that serve on the top-tier IEEE governing bodies.

Balloting starts on 17 August

It’s time to vote in the annual election.

The annual election ballots were mailed to all eligible voters via first class postal mail. In addition to the two candidates for 2016 IEEE President-Elect, various IEEE Divisions and Regions, as well as IEEE Standards Association, IEEE Technical Activities, and IEEE-USA, will be electing their officers. Starting on 17 August, eligible voting members can access and return their ballot electronically, or return by using the postage-paid reply envelope included in their ballot package. Balloting ends at 12:00 noon (17:00 UTC) on 1 October.

Forward election questions to elections@ieee.org.

Q&A with the Candidates

  • What do you believe are the major issues facing the IEEE?
  • What do you think is the number one goal for the IEEE leadership?
  • What qualifies you for the job?
