Toyota and IEEE Partner to Recognize Environmental and Safety Technologies with Innovative Award

11 November— The IEEE Foundation today announced the introduction of the IEEE Medal for Environmental and Safety Technologies, a new, global award sponsored by Toyota Motor Corporation. The award recognizes outstanding world-wide accomplishments in the application of technology that improves the environment and/or public safety.

Open to individuals, as well as teams of three, the award covers a wide variety of disciplines including power electronics, intelligent transportation systems, wireless communications, sensor networks control, control and automation, computing and signal processing.
