IEEE Lowers Prices on Single Articles Purchased via IEEE Xplore

12 June  – IEEE has lowered its single article prices – from US$13 to US$10 for IEEE members and US$35 to US$29 for all others. Designed to make IEEE information more accessible, the new single article prices represent an average decrease of 20 percent.  Statistics from an annual journal comparison study recently found:

• IEEE is the most-cited publisher in new technology patents;
• the leading universities and top research and development centers from around the world subscribe to IEEE information;
• IEEE journals are priced more than 50 percent lower than the commercial publishers.*
