2008 IEEE Annual Election Period Opens 26 July
25 July – Ballots for the 2008 IEEE Annual Election have been mailed to all eligible voting IEEE members via first class and may be accessed electronically beginning Saturday, 26 July 2008, at 12:00 p.m. CDT. To validate their identity, members may use their IEEE Web Account username/password, or the Control Number and e-signature located on their paper ballot to access the information.
To assist all voting members in making an informed decision, audio and video files featuring the two IEEE President-Elect candidates are available for review. The first is a moderated roundtable question and answer session, and the second is the annual President-Elect candidates' debate, hosted by the IEEE Philadelphia Section. Watch and/or listen on the IEEE Annual Election Web site, or directly from IEEE.tv.
The IEEE Annual Election will end on Wednesday, 1 October 2008, at 12:00 p.m. CDT. Ballots received after the deadline will not be counted. For more information, contact Carrie Loh, IEEE Annual Election, at c.loh@ieee.org or +1 732 562 3934.
