IEEE to Provide Access to IEEE Xplore Content Authored by 2012 Physics Nobel Prize Winners

11 October 2012 – To increase awareness of the groundbreaking work of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics recipients – Serge Haroche of Collège de France and École Normale Supérieure, Paris, France, and David J. Wineland of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and University of Colorado, Boulder, Colo., USA – IEEE will provide open access to all of their articles published in IEEE journals and conferences for 30 days via the IEEE Xplore digital library.

Haroche and Wineland were honored for "ground-breaking experimental methods that enable measuring and manipulation of individual quantum systems."
