Engineering For Change logoMake a Difference: 17 May Webinar Provides an Inside View of Engineering for Change

9 May 2012 – IEEE members will have the opportunity to learn more about the rapidly expanding Engineering for Change (E4C) global initiative through a free webinar on 17 May from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. EDT.

Launched last year, Engineering for Change (E4C) is a dynamic and growing community of engineers, technologists, social scientists, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), local governments and community advocates whose mission is to improve quality of life in communities around the world by facilitating the development of affordable, locally appropriate and sustainable solutions to the most pressing humanitarian challenges. IEEE, along with ASME and Engineers Without Borders, are founding partners.

E4C provides an excellent opportunity for IEEE members to use their engineering skills and experience to help solve global development challenges through digital and offline initiatives for collecting and disseminating information.

This webinar will provide information on the initiative, how to get involved, and include a question and answer session.
