IEEE Membership Statistics are published monthly. They provide a snapshot of membership for each Region, Section and Society as of the end of the fiscal month.
Membership statistics
The best way to view and understand these statistics in the context of each time period is to use the IEEE Monthly MD Progress Report.
Additional membership data can be pulled from SAMIEEE, a web enabled tool that allows ad-hoc querying, reporting and downloading of IEEE's membership data. Access to this system is limited to registered users with designated or automatic access. You can access the SAMIEEE data with your IEEE Account only.
The information contained in these types of reports is confidential and proprietary to the IEEE. It should not be redistributed or otherwise shared except for official IEEE business purposes. An IEEE Account is required for access. If you do not have an account, learn how you may obtain one. IEEE volunteers and officers may also find it useful to review the Annual Statistics of IEEE reports. The Annual Statistics provide a detailed, year-end snapshot of IEEE membership data.
