The Technical Activities staff has developed an online application for the collection of Society, Council & Co-Publication (S/C’s) Product Parameters, simplifying and streamlining the process for volunteers and staff. For most S/C’s, Product Parameters include Membership Dues and the products provided, as well as the prices of products that can be purchased optionally. It also includes the production expectations (pages counts, issue frequency and vendor) for all periodicals.
The system allows S/C Officers to review, edit and submit this information at their convenience during the budget process, and provides a centralized repository for data storage. It simplifies form completion by reducing complexity with pre-defined options for most fields and current product offerings included by default.
Societies can, at their discretion, agree to sell subscriptions to members of other societies at the reduced Society Member rate. A current list of these arrangements is available here. Please review this information to ensure that all offerings pertaining to your S/C are accurate, noting any necessary changes when you submit your Product Parameters.
This list is intended to cover internal agreements only (i.e., between two IEEE Societies). If you have any questions or would like to update agreements with external organizations (i.e., ACM, ASME, etc.) please contact the TAD Periodicals Group.
To access your S/C data, go to the Society, Council & CoPublication Product Parameters application (IEEE Account required). For help with your IEEE Account, visit the Training and Frequently Asked Questions page.
Before you begin: If your S/C has already submitted data for approval, or if your IEEE Account ID is not authroized to access the site, you will not be able to access it. If you do not know your IEEE Account, go to the Training and Frequently Asked Questions page.
Once authenticated, you will be able to access the S/C(s) that you are responsible for via a drop-down menu at the top of the page, and adjust individual product information by selecting the ‘Edit’ option to the right of each row. When all of the information has been updated, use the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page to send the information to the TA Finance Staff for inclusion in your budget.
Important: If your S/C has already submitted data for approval or your IEEE Account has not been authorized you will not be able to access the application. In addition, the deadline to submit this information is May 15, at which time the forms will be locked and no users will be allowed access. If you will not be able to meet this time constraint, please contact your analyst to make alternative arrangements.
