IEEE Technical Activities Strategy Initiative

In 2007, the IEEE Technical Activities (TA) Strategic Planning Committee considered several challenges and created a new and improved TA Strategic Plan.

This plan defines our core values, a vision for the future, and sets near- and long-term goals, including:
- increasing efforts to drive technology within IEEE;
- improving value to Society members;
- improving services and opportunities for young professionals within IEEE; and
- creating stronger corporate value and better services for practicing engineers.

To foster the development and facilitate the exchange of scientific and technological knowledge that benefits members, the profession and humanity.
