This is a set of training modules for Volunteers of IEEE. These volunteer training modules are meant to help volunteers understand how IEEE functions and to explain the many services IEEE has to offer.
Accreditation Activities
- Participation in accreditation is a major IEEE responsibility.
- The IEEE Educational Activities Board oversees IEEE's accreditation activities in cooperation with ABET.
- IEEE is the largest Member society of ABET.
- IEEE selects, trains and assigns volunteers as program evaluators.
- Program evaluators review engineering and technology programs to determine whether accreditation should be awarded.
