This is a set of training modules for Volunteers of IEEE. These volunteer training modules are meant to help volunteers understand how IEEE functions and to explain the many services IEEE has to offer.
Societies, Technical Councils & Technical Communities
Technical innovation and access to that information is a key value of IEEE membership. IEEE's technical organizations are:
- Societies
- Technical Councils
- Communities
These technical organizations are active by:
- Sponsoring conferences, workshops tutorials, and seminars;
- Developing publications;
- Presenting technical awards and paper prizes.
Technical Councils are groups of Societies working together in broad areas of technology to sponsor activities which benefit individuals in all of the member Societies.
The IEEE Emerging Technology Portal provides information on new technical communities and the latest technology developments.
