This is a set of training modules for Volunteers of IEEE.  These volunteer training modules are meant to help volunteers understand how IEEE functions and to explain the many services IEEE has to offer.

Sources of Income

  • Conference fees account for the largest share of Society/Technical Council revenue.
  • IEEE/IET Electronic Library (IEL), accessed online through IEEEXplore provides Society/Technical Council income from the sale of IEL content.
  • All Society Periodicals Package (ASPP) is the largest IEEE periodicals-only package sold to libraries. The ASPP line item in your S/C budget shows the distribution of the income from the sale of IEL content through the ASPP subscription.
    • REMINDER NOTE: That the Society/Technical Council TAB portion of IEL net is distributed via ASPP & Conference Publication Programs (50% ASPP, 50% Conf Pubs)
  • The Conference Publications line item shows the income distribution to Society/Technical Councils based on conference publications.
  • Non-Member Revenue is derived from the sale of products to non-IEEE members
  • Member Revenue is derived from society or council membership dues.
  • Subscription Revenue is derived from the sale of optional products to IEEE and and Society/Technical Council members.
