This is a set of training modules for Volunteers of IEEE. These volunteer training modules are meant to help volunteers understand how IEEE functions and to explain the many services IEEE has to offer.
Learning Objectives
In this module, you will learn:
- How the budgeting process works, who is responsible for what actions, and when budgets must be completed
- Where income and expenses in the S/C Budget are derived from
- What the Chart of Accounts is
- How to read and adjust your IEEE S/C Budget
Please note that this overview only provides some financial management highlights. Additional information is available in the TAB Operations Manual (PDF, 740 KB). S/C officers are encouraged to contact any member of the TAD Finance Staff as the first point of contact for any financial questions. A list of IEEE Societies and Councils is also available.
