This is a set of training modules for Volunteers of IEEE.  These volunteer training modules are meant to help volunteers understand how IEEE functions and to explain the many services IEEE has to offer. 

 

The Society/Technical Council Budgeting Cycle

Society and Council budgets are created and approved in a regular cycle, beginning the year before the January where the budget goes into effect.

April: Society/Technical Council Officers receive, review, refine First Pass Budget.  New Pubs should be identified earlier.

May: Society/Technical Councils return the First Pass Budget; TAB FinCom reviews and endorses.

June: TAB approves Society/Technical Council budget parameters and Member & Non-Member Subscription Prices and Member Fees.

July: Updated budgets returned to the Society/Technical Councils for final changes.

August: Society/Technical Councils return Final Budgets to staff.

September and October: TAB FinCom prepares the final Technical Activities budget for submission to TAB and the IEEE Board of Directors.

November: TAB and the IEEE Board of Directors approve the TAB and Society/Technical Council budgets.

January: The approved Society/Technical Council budgets take effect.
