IEEE Acronyms

This is a set of training modules for Volunteers of IEEE. These volunteer training modules are meant to help volunteers understand how IEEE functions and to explain the many services IEEE has to offer.

Learning Objectives

In this module, you will learn:

what Society and Council (Society/Technical Council) Financial Reports are issued;
when Society/Technical Council Financial Reports are issued;
what is in each Society/Technical Council Financial Report and how to read the report;
how to access Society/Technical Council Financial Reports.

Please note that this overview only provides some financial management highlights. Additional information is available in the Technical Activities Board (TAB) Operations Manual (PDF, 840KB). Society/Technical Council officers are encouraged to contact any member of the Technical Activities Department (TAD) Finance Staff as the first point of contact for any financial questions.
