This is a set of training modules for Volunteers of IEEE. These volunteer training modules are meant to help volunteers understand how IEEE functions and to explain the many services IEEE has to offer.
IEEE Standards Services Overview
IEEE Standards Association offers a full menu of services and programs that give our participants the support, choice and control they need to effectively develop standards at IEEE. When a working group forms, they need the infrastructure so they can concentrate on developing the standard, not on the administrative work. IEEE-SA supplies:
- Administrative and project management.
- Internet-based tools, ranging from web-page hosting to balloting.
- Strong legal foundation and administration of IP rules, including an attorney on staff.
- Editing to ensure standards are consistent with accepted writing practices.
- Clear paths to internationalization and marketing assistance.
- Management of the IEEE Standards Association membership, who participate in the standards development process.
