2013 10th Latin American Workshop on Magnetism, Magnetic Materials and their Applications (LAW3M)

The workshop will be closely linked with a school counterpart Exploring nanomagnetism and its applications. The LAW3M is organized in the frame of a joint effort between argentinean institutions and international organizations. LAW3M has a very important history, being the most important and comprehensive conference on magnetism in Latin America. Previous LAW3M conferences took place in La Habana (Cuba, 1991), M rida (Venezuela, 1995), Sao Paulo (Brazil ,1998), Bariloche (Argentina, 2001), Chihuahua (Mexico, 2003), Re aca (Chile, 2005), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil, 2007) and Manizales (Colombia, 2010). The workshop will focus on a broad range of topics including technological developments and fundamental aspects of magnetism, as well as novel magnetic materials.
