The Letter of Acquisition (LoA) is an agreement between your conference and IEEE to consider your conference for acceptance into the Conference Publication Program (CPP) and IEEE Xplore®. The CPP handles the acquisition and exclusive post-conference distribution of all conference publications for sponsored and co-sponsored conferences.
IEEE sends you the LoA after receiving your Conference Publication Form. The Letter of Acquisition provides the information you need to submit the conference proceedings to IEEE.
You must sign and return the LoA to Conference Publications at IEEE. It is important that you follow all the guidelines in your LoA, or there may be a delay in posting your technical papers to IEEE Xplore.
The LoA does not guarantee that your conference technical papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. IEEE can withhold the publishing of conference proceedings that do not meet the IEEE quality standards.
