Award description

Recognizes IEEE members for efforts to foster the maintenance and improvement of education through the process of accreditation of engineering, engineering technology, computer science programs, and applied science programs.

Nomination deadline

The deadline to submit a nomination package for 2017 is 1 May.

Nominations require three to five references.

** Please note: An individual may serve as a nominator or reference for only one nomination per award category.**

Nominee eligibility

The award is given to IEEE Graduate Student members, members, Senior members, and Fellows who have served as program evaluators, made contributions that have enhanced the accreditation process, and are currently, or have recently been, active in accreditation activities. Self-nominations are not accepted.

The award consists of US$1000, a brass and walnut plaque, and up to US$2000 in travel expenses to receive the award.
