Society/Council Professional Development Award 

This award recognizes IEEE Societies and Councils for major contributions to the professional development of its members through outstanding products, services, and support in the areas of life-long learning, continuing education, and professional development.

The deadline to submit a nomination package for 2013 is 15 May 2013.

Nominations require three to five references. 

Candidates must be Societies or Councils whose contributions to continuing education and professional development are outstanding as evidenced by their quality, comprehensiveness, innovation, or impact.

The award consists of a brass and walnut plaque and up to US$2,000 in travel expenses to receive the award.
