Engineering, computing and technology educators must continually develop and implement new learning content and methodology to meet the changing needs of the profession and of society. IEEE offers a series of activities to help.
The Real World Engineering Project (RWEP) provides curriculum development seed grants to faculty authors to create applied team-based projects for use in selected courses for first-year engineering, computing and technology students. A library of more than 20 completed RWEP projects ready for classroom use is also available.
English is the shared language of the engineering and computing profession. The IEEE Technical English Program series provides university educators in locations where English is not the primary language with with curriculum materials, instructional techniques and other support for their efforts to teach engineering, computing and technology students how to write, speak, hear and think in English.
