The IEEE supports a myriad of browsers, platforms and operating systems.



Supported Browsers

The following table illustrates the minimum browser versions supported on Windows and Apple computers by the IEEE.

Opera 7.3 7.3
Safari * n/a 1.2 (upgrade only)
Mozilla Firefox 1.5 1.5

* - Safari comes bundled with Mac OS X.  Only the upgrade is downloadable.

Supported Platforms

Thorough testing of IEEE web pages is performed on the WinTel (Windows/Intel) platform.

Testing performed on Apple MacIntosh only provides for the pages to be readable and navigatable.  Web pages are not necessarily displayed the same on a Mac as they are on Windows.
