Young Professional Online Seminars sponsored by IEEE GOLD: 

  • IEEE GOLD Graduation Reception Orientation session, 3 May 2008 at 1:30pm Eastern or 17:30:00 UTC (GMT) for one hour. 

IEEE graduating student members often find themselves in a perplexing situation early in their career - a strong need for direction, guidance and local networking to facilitate decisions. IEEE GOLD is promoting outreach efforts to assist in their transition from student to young professional. The activities - STEP and Graduation Reception, sets activities organized locally by teaming together GOLD members with Section and Student Branch officers.

Dear GOLD Members,

I am honored to be your new IEEE Member and Geographic Activities Board (MGA) GOLD Committee Chair for 2008.  This is a great opportunity for me to continue to serve the IEEE.  This assignment will give me the chance to enhance my leadership abilities, widen my network with MGA leaders as well as MGA Committee members, and the leadership of IEEE as a whole.  I am looking forward to building IEEE GOLD into an new level of visibility and growth.
