	2008 IEEE Honors Ceremony - The annual Honors Ceremony, considered to be IEEE's most prestigious event, recognizes exceptional contributions that have made a lasting impact on technology, society and the engineering profession. The program honors achievements in industry, research, education and service. There were be 22 Institute-level award recipients recognized at the 2008 IEEE Honors Ceremony.

	2008 IEEE Medal of Honor recipient - In this segment IEEE.tv interviews Dr. Gordon Moore the Co founder and Chairman Emeritus for the Intel Corporation. Dr. Moore has played many high profile roles during his illustrious career including innovator, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and environmentalist. At Sections Congress 2008, Dr. Moore was presented with the 2008 IEEE Medal of Honor for "pioneering technical roles in integrated-circuit processing, and leadership in the development of MOS memory, the microprocessor computer and the semiconductor industry."

	Care Innovations: Responsibility For Being Green - This program takes a look at the challenge of minimizing the environmental and health impacts of electronics manufacturing. Discussions focus on the responsibility of industry, government, academia, and the general public to foster the development of public policy and the enforcement of laws to safeguard health and the environment.

	Care Innovations: Toxics In Electronics - This program takes a look at the challenge of minimizing the environmental and health impacts of toxics in electronics. It explains to what extent toxics are involved in the manufacturing process of various electronic devices and further explains the current practices in controlling and disposing toxics during the manufacturing process.

	Energy Innovations: The Hydrogen House - The Energy Innovations series profiles fascinating and innovative approaches to meeting our growing energy needs. In this program, Mike Stritzki had a dream. As a tenacious engineer, he was determined to realize it with his own hands. Thus was born the first "hydrogen house" in the United States, designed and built in pastoral Hopewell, New Jersey. 	Group on Earth Observations(GEOSS) - To coordinate the collecting and analysis of data on our environment, the intergovernmental Group on Earth Observations (GEOSS) is leading a worldwide effort to build a Global Earth Observation System of Systems over the next 10 years to help study and manage the worlds resources and disaster prediction and recovery. This program is about the political challenges of developing this global information service that includes satellite-based remote sensing technologies for data collection and analysis.

	NREL Wind Technology Center - Jim Johnson, Senior Engineer at the NREL Wind Technology Center, gives a tour of the Wind Research testing site that includes several kinds of wind turbines, including a stop at the blade testing site. He discusses various kinds of data obtained from this site.

	Oral History: Earl Bakken - In this Oral History, Earl Bakken discusses why the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society was so important to him throughout his career. Mr. Bakken is credited with the invention of the first implantable cardiac pacemaker, an IEEE Milestone.

	Oral History: Jerry Minter - The IEEE History Center conducted its very first video oral history with Jerry Minter of Denville, NJ on 13 March 2007. Jerry is a Life Fellow of the IEEE and a graduate of MIT. Jerry holds a total of 26 patents and received his most recent patent 2 years ago on flight crash avoidance systems.
