The field of interest of the Society is the development and application of power electronics technology, which encompass the effective use of electronic components, the application of circuit theory and design techniques, and the development of analytical tools toward efficient electronic conversion, control, and conditioning of electric power.
The Society sponsors the annual Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition, ECCE Global Series: IEEE Energy Conversion Congress & Expo, ECCE Asia, EPE ECCE-Europe which include technical sessions, tutorials, and informal discussion sessions.
