IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members, supported by an IEEE Student Branch, advised and proctored by an IEEE member, compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.
IEEEXtreme 6.0 official results
The IEEEXtreme 6.0 Global Programming Competition recognized some of the world's top up-and-coming programmers.
The grand prize winner was DongskarPedongi from Institut Teknologi Bandung of Indonesia. They will receive an expenses-paid trip to an IEEE conference of their choice, anywhere around the world.
The second- and third-place winners were LosDesempleados from Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria Lima, Peru, and meeyo from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Each team member will receive a netbook.
