IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE student members – supported by an IEEE Student Branch, advised and proctored by an IEEE member – compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.

 

Corporate sponsorship

  • Sponsorship of IEEEXtreme includes web and print advertising opportunities for branding and awareness before, during and after the competition.
  • IEEE has more than 1,800 Student Branches established at universities and colleges with 100,000 student and graduate student members worldwide.
  • Sponsorship is an excellent way to get an edge on recruiting the next generation of top talent in the engineering, computer and technology fields.

Promote IEEEXtreme 8.0 at your school

  • The challenge lasts for 24 hours, starting 18 October 2014 at 00:00:00 UTC, and finishes 24 hours later. For reference, check world times for your exact starting time.
  • Teams should include no more than 3 IEEE student members (Student members or Graduate Student members).
  • Student Branches at universities and colleges can form multiple teams.
  • Use IEEEXtreme 8.0 as a recruiting tool encourage students from the Computer Science or Information Technology department to join IEEE and participate in IEEEXtreme.
  • Increase the engagement of your existing student members by encouraging participation in IEEEXtreme or the IEEE President's Change the World competition.
