Cheers to IEEE Women in Engineering Magazine for winning a 2008 APEX Award of Excellence in the category of New Magazines and Journals. This is the 20th year for the awards program, which recognizes excellence in publications work by professional communicators. APEX awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence. Award recipients are selected from nearly 4,500 entries.
