IEEE also recognizes outstanding individuals through the special membership categories of IEEE Fellow and IEEE Honorary Member. Additionally, Senior Membership is an opportunity for IEEE members to be recognized for their achievements.

Senior Member Elevations

Senior Member is the highest membership grade for which IEEE members can apply. To be eligible for application, candidates must fulfill a variety of criteria as well as supply three references from current IEEE members holding the grade of Fellow, Senior Member, or Honorary Member.
