IEEE Awards Program
The IEEE Awards Program honors achievements in education, industry, research, and service. Each award has a unique mission and criteria, and offers the opportunity to honor distinguished colleagues, inspiring teachers, and corporate leaders.
Other IEEE Awards
Many IEEE organizations recognize specific technical and professional achievement through other awards programs.
Membership Categories
IEEE also recognizes outstanding individuals through the special membership categories of IEEE Fellow and IEEE Honorary Member. Additionally, Senior Membership is an opportunity for IEEE members to be recognized for their achievements.
Senior Member Elevations
Senior Member is the highest membership grade for which IEEE members can apply. To be eligible for application, candidates must fulfill a variety of criteria as well as supply three references from current IEEE members holding the grade of Fellow, Senior Member, or Honorary Member. The WIE Committee can assist you with obtaining Senior Member endorsements.
