IEEE GOLDRush is a quarterly newsletter published by IEEE GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) and is circulated to the approximately 60,000 GOLD members worldwide.
It is an important source of news on GOLD activities to help raise awareness and encourage other young professionals around the globe to get involved in similar volunteer activities. It aims to meet the needs of young technology professionals around the world and help them develop their professional careers by providing a range of articles on professional, social, and technical topics.
Four (4) editions of GOLDRush are published each year in mid-March, mid-June, mid-September, and mid-December. These editions will be announced by e-mail, published on the Web as a downloadable PDF file, and summarized on Twitter.
Submission deadlines are as follows:
Submissions may be GOLD news items, notices for events, or member articles on any topic relevant to young professionals for the peer-reviewed contributions section.
Please include article title, author’s name, country or state/province, IEEE membership grade (i.e., Student member, Senior member, etc.), and IEEE member number.
Attach photos both within the document and separately as jpeg files. Remember to include captions for any photos.
Please note that all articles and photo(s) will be peer-reviewed and edited if necessary. Spelling, grammar, phrasing, and length may be altered, and there is no guarantee that by submitting your article it will be used in an upcoming IEEE GOLDRush Newsletter issue.
The final decision to publish any article is made by the GOLDRush editor.
Submission of opinions and questions on GOLDRush articles are also welcome for inclusion in the Reader's Forum.
