The IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society (UFFC-S) is celebrating 60 years of operations – join us for the 2013 Joint UFFC, EFTF, and PFM symposium July 21-25, in Prague. IEEE ISAF-ECAPD-PFM 2012 conference was a joint meeting combining three different events, all held in the University of Aveiro (Portugal) from 9th to 13th of July, 2012 (http://isaf-ecapd.web.ua.pt). These three conferences were:
1. Ultrasonics Symposium Overview
Professor Marija Kosec passed away after a serious illness on 23rd December 2012. Almost everyone called her Marička, a popular Slovenian version of the biblical name.
The UFFC Society Administrative Committee (AdCom) has an annual election to select four members of the Society to serve on the AdCom for a term of three years.
The UFFC Newsletter covers items pertinent to the UFFC Society, including the annual symposia, awards, and all volunteer activities.
