Elya Joffe, Vice-President for Member Services
of the EMC Society, is the recipient of the 2005 Larry K. Wilson
Award.
The award citation read “For outstanding contribution to
enhancement of the transnational character of IEEE through promotion
of conferences, membership, and chapter development on a regional
and global basis.”
This is a very prestigious award, and the IEEE EMC Society is
proud that one of its members was honored for his outstanding
contributions to numerous IEEE and EMC Society activities and
for the example he set in carrying forward the transnational goals
and objectives of the IEEE in general and the EMC Society, in
particular.
