Petitions for candidates for the next Photonics Society Board of Governors election must be received by the Photonics Society Executive Office no later than 1 March 2009. The Petition must bear the signatures of one percent of the members of Photonics Society as of
1 January 2009, and an indication by the candidate of his/her willingness to serve if elected. Printed name, signature and IEEE member number are required for all individuals signing the petition.
