Krishnan Parameswaran received the B.Eng. degree (Electrical, with High Distinction) from Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada) in 1995. He earned the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1997 and 2002, respectively. He is currently a Principal Scientist with Physical Sciences Incorporated in Andover, MA. His research interests include lasers, nonlinear optics, remote sensing, microfabrication, and optical fiber communications. Dr. Parameswaran is a member of IEEE and OSA and regularly serves as a reviewer for journals published by both societies.
