2000 IEEE Fellows with LEOS Ties

The following individuals were among those selected by the IEEE Board of Directors to be advanced to the grade of Fellow in the IEEE. Fellow grade recognizes usual distinction in the profession and is conferred only by invitation of the Board of Directors upon a person of outstanding and extraordinary qualifications and experience and who has made important individual contributions to one or more IEEE designated fields that have been reflected in an improved quality of life of society. Not more than one-tenth of one percent of the membership may be nominated in any year.
