The IEEE/OSA Journal of Display Technology, a cooperative effort among seven IEEE Societies (including LEOS) and the Optical Society of America, just published its inaugural issue. The journal’s scope is essentially all science and engineering aspects of displays, and overlaps closely with the LEOS Displays Technical Committee as well as content of several of our conferences and journals. You are invited to review the Table of Contents, reprinted below, the on-line abstracts at IEEE Xplore® (plus full-text papers if you added JDT to your 2005 membership renewal), and the Call for Papers from the Editor, Prof. Shin-Tson Wu, at the journal’s Website, accessible from the JDT Xplore page. To expedite time-to-publication, JDT uses Rapid Posting on Xplore, and JDT is the first IEEE journal to offer authors the option of color on-line/monochrome in print.
