The IEEE Lasers & Electro-Optics Society announced the winners of the LEOS Graduate Student Fellowships for 2005. The Fellowships will be presented during the Awards Ceremony at the LEOS Annual Meeting to: Hatice Altug, Ray Chen, Mable M.P. Fok, Giancarlo Gavioli, Daniel M. Grasso, Sander Lars Jansen, Zhi Jiang, Alessandro Marques de Melo, Joyce Poon, Takuo Tanemura, Jaroslow Piotr Turkiewicz, and Chad S. Wang.
The LEOS Graduate Student Fellowship Program was established to provide Graduate Fellowships to outstanding LEOS student members pursuing graduate education within the LEOS field of interest.
