Xiaowei (Vivian) Zhu was born in Shanghai, China in 1971. She received the BS and MS degree in Applied Physics from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou in 1994 and 1997 respectively. She received the MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, TN, USA in 2000. Since then, she has been enrolled in the Ph.D program of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Vanderbilt University. Her main research interest is the circuit-level modeling of single-event effects in integrated electronics, particularly ground-based errors in advanced, sub-micron, low-power technologies.
