| I knew Lou and worked with him over the last years and I miss him and his camaraderie and wit. He was the “professor emeritus” for the standards work being done for ANSI and IEC. He could defuse unpleasant situations with a remarkable ability to keep everyone happy. One of his best pieces of advice was “Give in on the little things so that when you don’t give in on the big one, the other party thinks he’s won more than you have.” Works wonders for consensus standards. | ||||||
