The IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society is offering a predoctoral fellowship in solid-state circuits for the academic year 1999-2000. The fellowship includes a stipend of $15,000, tuition and fees up to a maximum of $8,000, and a grant of $2,000 to the department in which the recipient is registered.
Applicants must have completed at least one year of graduate study, be in a Ph.D. program in the area of solid-state circuits, and be a member of IEEE. The award will be made on the basis of academic record and promise, graduate study program, and need.

The deadline for submission is May 15, 1999, and the results will be announced by July 15, 1999.
