Six more years of the JSSC on CD-ROM will be available in a 2 CD-ROM set, with a release date of February 1999. This will make ten years of the JSSC in the CD-ROM format. The Publications Committee of the Society developed the proposal for this frequently cited journal, and the Administrative Committee (AdCom) approved it at their August 28 meeting.
The AdCom also voted to develop a 4 CD-ROM set of the 1966-1988 JSSC, to be available in the year 2000. Look for announcements about that product later this year in this newsletter.
The member price for the ’89-’94 set is $35 plus shipping and handling. See the red box on the facing page for details on how to order from three regional sites around the globe. The new CD set can also be ordered as part of registration for the ISSCC or purchased at the meeting.
The 1995-96 and 1996-97 issues of the JSSC are already available on CD. These were member benefits in previous years. The 1999 member benefit of the 1997-98 issues of the JSSC on CD-ROM will be shipped to all members later this spring. Current issues are also available to members on-line at www.opera.ieee.org. For new members who would like to purchase earlier CD-ROMS, order them from IEEE using the product numbers below. The member prices for these CDs have recently been lowered from $74.95 to $25.
