Topic Areas
Solid State Lasers
The subcommittee on Solid State Lasers solicits papers on all topics in all areas of the field. Papers are solicited on new developments in rare earth, transition-metal and color-center lasers, including high-power, diode-pumped, tunable, ultrastable, and ultrafast sources and systems. Rapidly emerging technologies such as upconversion lasers, broadly tunable optical parametric oscillators, fiber lasers and waveguide lasers are of particular interest. Papers focusing on engineering and applications issues are strongly encouraged.
