Ultrafast Optics and Electronics

The subcommittee on Ultrafast Optics and Electronics solicits papers on advances in the science and technology of ultrafast electronics, photonics, and optoelectronics. Topics of interest include new concepts and their implementation as well as significant advances in the following areas: novel ultrafast sources and optical frequency combs; propagation, measurement, processing, and detection of ultrashort optical and electronic pulses; free-space THz beams and its applications; ultrafast optical, electronic and optoelectronic materials, components, devices, and systems; novel applications of ultrafast technology in the study of transient phenomena in physics, electrical engineering, and material science.
