Registration fees include participation in all meeting sessions, refreshment breaks, welcome reception and a CD-ROM of the technical digest. Pre-registration is not required but is strongly encouraged for quick pick-up of materials upon your arrival.

Refund Policy for Pre-registration
A service charge of $50 will be assessed for processing refunds. A letter requesting the refund should state the preregistrant's name and amount of payment. Requests for preregistration refunds must be received by 26 July 2006.
No refunds will be accepted after 26 July 2006.
Reduced Registration Fees
In an effort to assist any who would like to attend the 2006 Optical MEMS Conference, LEOS is now offering reduced registration fees based on World Bank country classifications. The World Bank uses four categories according to each country's gross national income per capita: High income, upper middle income, lower middle income and low income. Starting with high income countries and assigning a number N=0 through 3 to each category, a reduction of 25xN % will be applied for any registrant from a given country.
If you would like to take advantage of the reduced registration fee program, please go to the World Bank website at http://www.worldbank.org/data/countryclass/countryclass.html and locate your country's classification. When completing the conference registration form, please indicate your country's appropriate classification in the space provided and calculate your reduction.
The program was developed by a LEOS member and has already been endorsed by a local chapter. LEOS has implemented this program for the Optical MEMS Conference in hopes that it will provide assistance to some of the attendees. We hope this program meets its objective and gives us an opportunity to see many new, along with familiar, faces at this year's meeting.
