Registration fees include participation in all meeting session, refreshment breaks, welcome reception and a copy of the technical digest.  Pre-registration is not required but is strongly encourage for quick pick-up of materials upon your arrival.

Refund Policy for Preregistration
A service charge of $50 will be assessed for processing refunds. A letter requesting the refund should state the preregistrant's name and amount of payment. Requests for preregistration refunds must be received by 1 July 2003. No refunds will be accepted after 1 July 2003.


Reduced Registration Fees
In an effort to assist any who would like to attend the LEOS Summer Topicals Meetings, LEOS is now offering reduced registration fees based on World Bank country classifications. The World Bank uses four categories according to each countries' gross national income per capita: High income, upper middle income, lower middle income and low income. Starting with high income countries and assigning a number N=0 through 3 to each category, a reduction of 25xN % will be applied for any registrant from a given country.

If you would like to take advantage of the reduced registration fee program, please go to the World Bank website at www.worldbank.com/data/databytopic/class.htm and locate your country's classification. When completing the conference registration form, please indicate your country's appropriate classification in the space provided and calculate your reduction.

The program was developed by a LEOS member and has already been endorsed by a local chapter. LEOS has implemented this program for the Summer Topicals Meetings in hopes that it will provide assistance to some of the attendees. We hope this program meets its objective and gives us an opportunity to see many new, along with familiar, faces at this year's meeting.


HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Registration Deadline: 13 June 2003
A limited block of rooms at a special conference rate of $254 CAD (single or double) has been reserved at The Fairmont Waterfront.

Please add 10% Provincial Sales Tax and 7% Federal Goods & Services Tax (GST -refundable for no-resident Canadians). Reservations received after Friday, June 13, 2003 date will be on a space available basis. If rate and category requested are not available, nearest will be assigned. Rates in Canadian dollars subject to Taxes.

Please be sure to indicate you are with IEEE/LEOS Summer Topicals 2003 when making your reservation.

Include a first night deposit to confirm your reservation OR indicate a Major Credit Card Name, Number and Expiry Date. If you do not wish to use a Credit Card for your confirmation, please mail your cheque or money order to The Fairmont Waterfront. Do Not Send Currency. The deposit will be refunded if cancellation occurs 48 hours before arrival date. If cancellation occurs less than 48 hours to arrival, the deposit is non-refundable. Please retain the cancellation number provided.
