Hotel Accommodations

RESERVATION DEADLINE: 12 November 2007

All conference activities will take place at the Hilton Sorrento Palace.

A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved for the convenience of the conference attendees at the Hilton Sorrento Palace. The conference rates listed above are available five days prior and five days after the conference dates based on availability. The rates are inclusive of full breakfast, taxes and service charges.

Check-In Time: 2:00pm
Check-Out Time: 10:00am

DEPOSIT
To guarantee your reservation, you must either (1) send a check or money order covering the three (3) night's room rate, OR (2) send a signed letter or form authorizing the hotel to charge the room deposit to your credit card. Guaranteed reservations are held until at least 6:00am the following morning, at which time the reservation and deposit are charged.

NOTE: After 12 November 2007, the Hilton Sorrento Palace will charge the first 3 nights of the stay as a non-refundable deposit in case of cancellation.


CANCELLATION POLICIES
- Prior to 12 November 2007, there is no charge for any cancellation.
- After 10 January 2008, the full stay will be charged for any cancellation.

All special requests, including bedding/smoking preferences, are not guaranteed, but subject to availability at the time of arrival. The hotel will make every effort to accommodate your requests.

Sorrento is a charming town steeped in legend, history and culture. Often referred to as the land of colours, it has inspired poets, writers and artists since the ancient Roman times. Lose yourself for a day wandering through its quaint alleyways that lead onto piazzas, exquisite restaurants, and delightful cafe's brimming with Southern Italian style.

The Hilton Sorrento Palace has been beautifully renovated, overlooks the town itself and offers an awe-inspiring view of the Gulf of Naples (and the unmistakable sight of Mount Vesuvius). In fact Sorrento is perfectly placed to reach so many of the must see sights! The chic Capri, the breathtaking Amalfi Coast with Positano Amalfi and Ravello, not to mention Pompeii, Herculaneum, the gorgeous Naples (for shopping and culture) and Ischia with its thermal baths and springs. All well within 30 minutes of the resort by Hydrofoil or train.

Punta Campanella is one of Italy's largest marine reserves and is just 25 minutes by boat from Sorrento. Alas there is simply not enough space to do justice to this fantastic resort; suffice it to say, it is a beautiful jewel waiting to be discovered.
