- Follow up or refresh
on a specific topic can be individually selected and viewed as needed.
-
Click on a Lesson (ex: “SAMIEEE Overview”)
- On
the top right side of your screen, Playback Mode selections appear. Choose
the option you wish to use.
- The first time you choose a playback mode, the tool will ask if you
wish to run the tutorial. If “Yes” is chosen, it will run through the
directions before the actual lesson occurs. If “No” is chosen, it will go
directly to the lesson. Instructions for using both are below.
-
See It!
- The See It! mode
enables you to learn by watching an animated demonstration of tasks being
performed in a simulated environment. The screens are on a timed display.
Users have the ability to pause the screen, at any time, in order to read
all text. Click on the Pause link in the See It! bubble and when ready to
continue, click on Resume.
-
Try It!
-
The Try It! mode enables you to learn by performing a task in a simulated
environment. The student is instructed, through the text bubbles, which
steps to perform. If the steps are completed properly, the tool will bring
them to the next screen. If not, it will state that the step was incorrect
and ask the student to perform the task again.
- If
during the lesson, you wish to stop and return to the previous step, click
on the “Actions” link in the text bubble, select Previous Step and the tool
will immediately move back one screen.
- Once you have completed a lesson, you will return to the index where
you can choose the next lesson and proceed by again choosing the playback
mode.
-
Note: The Know It? and Do
It! modes are not set up to be used for these lessons.
