AWARD
DESCRIPTION
Recognizes
IEEE Societies and Councils for major contributions to the professional developoment of its members through the outstanding products, services and support in the areas
of life long learning, continuing education, and professional
development. The award consists of a brass and walnut plaque.
PLEASE
NOTE:
Current members
of the IEEE EAB or of the IEEE EAB Awards and Recognition Committee may not be nominators or endorsers of EAB Awards.
Please complete
the form on your computer, save as an MS Word file, and submit
as an attached email file to eab-awards@ieee.org,
as indicated at the end of the form. ALSO, please email a copy
of your completed Nomination Form to the Reference Writers you
provided. All information must be typed in MS
Word. Limit number of words as indicated in the text boxes provided.
Handwritten copy is not permitted. Please
submit all information in English
NOMINATOR
The
nominator of this award is required to be an IEEE member with
the following exceptions (noted above): Current members of the
IEEE EAB or of the IEEE EAB Awards and Recognition Committee may
not be recipients, nominators, or endorsers of EAB Awards.
The use of
the Downloadable Word Nomination Form requires the Nominator
to notify References and to provide access to, or copy of, the
completed Nomination Form, Reference Form and other information
about the process.
The Nominator
may direct the Reference Writer to the following link to access
the Reference Form.

DEADLINE
It
is the nominator’s responsibility to meet the Deadline of
30 April 2007.
All
nomination materials, including the Nomination Form and all Reference
Forms, must be received by IEEE EAB Awards Administration (eab-awards@ieee.org)
by the deadline.
CANDIDATE
SECTIONS
The Society/Council Professional Development Award is given to IEEE
Societies or Councils for major contributions to IEEE members in the areas
of lifelong learning, continuing education, and professional development.
REFERENCES
The
nominator is responsible for providing a minimum of three and
a maximum of five persons to serve as references for this award.
At least two references must be IEEE members. As noted above,
current members of the IEEE EAB or of the IEEE EAB Awards and
Recognition Committee may not serve as references for any IEEE
EAB award.

Please
confine all text to the space indicated on the form for each item.
Addenda are not permitted and will not be reviewed by the IEEE
EAB Awards and Recognition Committee.
