This service has created the mobile Internet community and a new culture of text-based communications. Through a carefully planned business model, NTT DoCoMo collaborated with handset manufacturers, content providers and related platforms to ensure the wireless technology,content and user experience inherent in i-mode would evolve at an optimal pace. The launch of i-mode and its rapid growth in popularity have been critical in creating the mobile Internet industry.
