Awards Planning and Policy Committee
Mission Statement
The Awards Planning and Policy Committee (APPC) is responsible for policy supervision of all awards administered by IEEE Technical Societies and other awards, including those of Boards, Societies, Sections, Councils, Regions, Conferences and Committees, but excluding those administered by the AB and Fellow grade elections.
The Awards Planning and Policy Committee shall be composed of the chair of the Awards Board, and the vice chairs of the councils, who shall be ex officio with voting privileges, four members at large, one of whom shall be the vice chair of the committee and the Awards and Recognitions chair of the five major boards: EAB, RAB, SA, TAB, IEEE-USA.
